Magazine Annotation

The Magazine cover used was one of Janet Jackson from a Vibe Magazine.
The Magazine follows the regular ordinary trend for magazines, for example It has mast heads, many cover lines, images, a bar code, date and a price. It also has a strapline, a three colour pallette and a only 3 fonts.
The target audience for this magazine would be women, and the three colour pallette suits this audience well because it is all pinky, and peachy colours, with the ocasional white, blue and black.
The cover lines entice the audience because for a start they are in a nice font which draws the audience in and grabs their attention. All of the coverlines are suitable to what the magazine suits for. For example, this looks like a music magazine and all of the colours have something to do with music. This magazine must be designed for people with a subscription or people who get it reguarly, because the picture is half covering up the mast head, so the readers must know about the magazine and what it is called before hand.
From looking at this magazine i have learnt that using colours that are similiar works well because it is only different shades, and that the coverlines must be relevant to the type of magazine.
