Preliminary Task Evaluation Questions - Film

1.) For the preliminary task, i worked with Abbi. We took it in turns to film, and then direct. We did this so both of this could get a chance to both jobs and see who was best at doing what for future reference.
2.) We planned the sequence by creating a storyboard for each shot we were going to create. We also just wrote a small script so we knew what each two character's can say so it could all move smoothly while filming. Our insipiration came from what we had seen from other people's video, and seen what they had done.
3.) For this task we used a Video recorder, a tripod, and just the sceneary. We got the cameria from the school libary, and the tripod was used to shoot from different angles and heights.
4.) When shooting this we had take into consideration the background of all our shots incase they happened to change, because this would make it bad continuity. We also had to do this with the set because otherwise again the continiuity would be bad, and would make the whole film not very professional. We Also should of took in considertation the 180 degree line. We completely forgot about this, and broke the rule for it, but didn't have time to re shoot it, but if we was to do it again we now know what to do.
5.) Our film worked really well. The shooting was fairly quick, and also when edititng it together the contitinuity was really good. The thing we needed to approve was just the 180 degree line with the over the shoulder conversation.
6.) Now we know that we need to think about things more, and t0 remeber the 180 degree line!
