Preliminary Task Evaluation Questions - Magazine Cover

1.) Again, i worked with Abbi on this task. We managed this by me taking charge of the actual front cover, and for Abbi to do the contents page, also with a bit of help from each other so our idea's go into each one.

2.) We planned this by creating a two page plan just talking about what we are going to do on each of the pages, and then also a quick plan just to have an idea of what kind of layout we want on each of the pages.

3.)For this task we used a digital camera to take some pictures which we could use on our magazine, and also photo shop so we could then edit the pictures and upload them on to the magazine. Photo shop is also the program we used to create the actual magazine cover and the contents page.
4.) When creating this, the main factor we had to take into consideration is colour scheme's and the fonts we used, because i did one page, and Abbi did the other, so we had to make sure that we used the same colours and theme's because if we didn't the two pages wouldn't work together. We did this by having a plan of the colours and fonts we were going to use.
5.) Our Magazine cover went well, because in the end they fitted well together and if they were actually in a magazine, i think that both of the pages would work well together and not look strange. The one thing we would consider more next time was time limit, because we spent too much time on taking the pictures and not actually leaving us that much time for creating the magazine itself.
6.) From doing this task it has allowed me to explore photo shop, as I had never used it before. it has allowed me to learn about it so in the future when it comes to my actual coursework, i will no what to do and not be using a completely new program to me.
